On Saturday we said our final goodbye to a much loved friend of ours. John was the driver of the famous 'Gunslinger' for Lorenzs Pastoral. In fact, John was the first driver Lorenzs hired as a full time driver. John was very much part of the family at Lorenzs and he became a much loved friend of everyone at Rollin' Stainless. Here are a couple of samples we made up to show what our laser can do in terms of the 'Laser Etching'. The first three are etched into 3mm Aluminium. All three are etched at different depths. The images do make it hard to see the depth. The five have been etched into 2mm 2B stainless. These are also etched all at different depths. Our laser has many hidden talents! Thankfully the driver was ok and no others were involved. We had Quiggz' on the step and tank strap dismantle for this D.A Campbell rig. The tear down happens so we can get our tank wraps on, install lower step mounts to fit the customers choice, tiger eye lights in and to install our tank trims for a smart finish! #Rollin #Stainless #Steel

Grill dismantle with a new hood ornament fitout. During this process we remove that standard grill and take the backing sheet off and replace it with stainless grill mesh for a stylish and protective finish. On this job we also added two more grill bars. Finished off with a chrome swan hood ornament🤩 #Rollin #Stainless #Steel

Toolbox Tidy🧰 When the name says it all. These are a great little piece to, well what the name says, keep your toolbox tidy! All made inhouse. Here we have the "The Man, The Myth, The Swan" working his magic on the laser buzzing out our recently posted custom tyre stands. Vaporising etching cut There are three steps involved during this process. First off is vaporising. Also keep in mind this can be really technical terminology for most, including my self so ill try to keep it simple. The stainless we use has two protective layers on it. Vaporising is when the laser burns through both layers to seal the plastic together so that it doesn't bubble into one big balloon when doing the etching process. Second is the etching process, where the laser buzzes around the design and removes layers of steel. In this case etching our logo and text into the signs. Third we have the cut. The laser goes around the design and cuts out our stand. That is a very basic run down but I will be sure to get a big post up soon on what this laser is all about! #Rollin #Stainless #Steel

It’s not always fun and games in the shed. Keeping things clean and tidy isn’t always as easy as it seems when you’re working with multiple tools and materials. Admittedly most of the crew (most😉) do a good job at keeping things pretty tidy. But there’s always going to be a bit of mess. Luckily we’ve got a mini shed sweeper to help speed up the process. Good luck getting the keys off Alex to use it though, it’s his pride and joy. We’re just lucky it’s only running a small motor otherwise it would have no rubber left on the tires knowing him 💨 #Rollin’ #Stainless #Steel

FREDS 'TRIBUTE' It really is something special. I can remember the day the boys were talking about getting this truck in and what they were going to do with it. We're in the game of doing fancy stuff with stainless so the crew decided it was time to do something special with some of the mirror finish black stainless we have🤩 A couple of hours is all it took from design to finish. Drawn, engraved then folded and we have our selves our own personalised stand/ business card holder to put with our trucks at shows.
